GCI ConnectMD offers a full-featured email service to the healthcare market, allowing physicians, nurses, administrators, and staff to send and receive emails with Internet users globally.
GCI ConnectMD email is provided via Linux services, which are backed up weekly. Each server contains a mirrored pair of hard drives to provide redundancy in case of single drive failure. Each server has sufficient CPU capacity to serve all users on the server and is connected to the network using a 100Mbps Ethernet connection.
Features include rich e-mail, public folders, contacts, conferences, a centralized directory, group collaboration in conferences, and conferencing. It allows you to foster the building of ideas, and participate in group discussion areas, and shared workspaces.
